Solved Mouse stopped working for windows 7 x64

My Basic Optical Mouse v2.1 stopped working after it has worked for a while already, after I restarted my computer it just stopped working. So I updated my drivers and looked through my mouse options and it tells me only about my touchpad settings and that's it. I plug the mouse in and it lights up but it won't move at all. :confused: Please help me asap. Im using a HP Pavilion g series with Wind7 x64

If it's a laptop i think you have to turn off the touchpad before the usb mouse will work.
