Hello
for a windows 7 reinstall I have the following - and common - problem : mouse and keyboard - both on USB ports -are not detected at the first screen ( langage selection ) ; I tried to change over usb ports , change bios settings , but still nothing ...
My w7 live USB is made with rufus , GPT / UEFI option ( made on windows 11 on another pc)
Bios settings are : secure boot : disabled , USB legacy : disabled , boot : UEFI first
Mother board is gygabyte GA-H81M-HD3 - pc USB TYPE : max 2 , other : CSM support ?, XHCI mode ? USB legacy support?
Drives : SSD 250 G + HD 500 G
I previously installed W7 on the SSD but it don't boot now ! ( after some seconds win logo is displayed , come back to grub menu : this SSD content 3 partitions with 2 linux and Windows 7 )
Have ou any idea regarding BIOS settings or others ?

Turn usb legacy on. You didn't say if you are using wireless or wired devices. If wireless you might have to switch to wired.
