Device: MpKsld6133a63
Error: This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)
Code 24 (off of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123):
The device is installed incorrectly. The problem could be a hardware failure, or a new driver might be needed. Devices stay in this state if they have been prepared for removal. After you remove the device, this error disappears. Recommended resolution: Remove the device, and this error should be resolved.
I've tried Googling to find out what the device is, but no luck. Could it be a random flashdrive?
If I double click on "MpKsld6133a63" in the Device Manager, select the "Details" tab in the window that pops up and then select "Problem code" in the dropdown there, a value of "00000018" is displayed. I tried searching that and came up with a bunch of BSOD stuff and a ton of guides on how to update a ton of different drivers; effectively useless.
I'm lost, and am a bit paranoid now (I've noticed a few new little symptoms on my system recently and am hoping it's not about to die...) Any thoughts? Guidance? Do I just ignore it?
If needed, I can supply every category of information from the dropdown menu within the pop-up window that occurs when I double click on "MpKsld6133a63" in the Device Manager, or other information about my system. Thanks.
