MS Outlook 2003 - Default email

Am trying -using 7zip- to compress & email but unable to do so as Outlook is not my default. Apparently Live Mail is.

How can I change please?

Hi ess,

You can Set Outlook 2003 as default mail client in Windows 2007 as @Irene already suggested, But if you want to compress your outlook email than you can try Tool > Compact now. more detail: How to compact the personal folders (.pst) files in Outlookhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/289987

1. The "box" for Outlook is already ticked.
2. Not able to add any programme in ... "Default Programs".

Solved problem by uninstalling Windows Live.
Strange that two MS programmes cause this
