Either will work, but don't use both. Two AV programs tend to mess each other up.
If you are willing to pay for Norton, and like it, use it.
If you want a great, light free one, use MSE.
It all comes down to personal preference.
I have used MSE for months now, not a virus. Not one. I don't plan on paying a ridiculous amount for any AV in the future, not with MSE.
