Solved Ms14-052 IE 11 update kb2977629 cannot install error 8007000D

My system is Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.
I cannot install this update kb2977629. Error 8007000D.

It looks like your SoftwareDistribution folder is damaged/corrupt.



Open an Elevated Command Prompt
Run the following commands

NET STOP WUAUSERV
REN C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution SDOLD
NET START WUAUSERV

reboot
then wait 10 minutes, and open Windows Updates, and run a Check for Updates.

Install only the oldest update found - and reboot once installed
then go back to Windows updates and install the others.
