Ive set up some directories I do not want MSE to ever scan or monitor. Yet, when I run a full scan the directories are still being scanned??? :sa:

WHY?! (This is the first scan Ive ever done) maybe MSE wont ignore the excluded directories on the very first scan?

It's my understanding that the very first scan includes everything so as to create a baseline of sorts. The logic being if something is on the hard drive let's make sure it's not infected. Once everything has been scanned the excluded files should be ignored. I'd suggest letting the initial scan run its course and then run a second scan to see if it excludes those files. If it doesn't, post back and we'll try to figure things out.
