MSI could not be accessed

So yeah I'm getting the old MSI could not be accessed crap whenever I try to install *any* MSI file

I've tried all the fixes involving the registry and putting an _ infront of the key but the problem there is I *dont* have that registry key there all thats there is default

I've tried manually starting the Windows Installer service but it says "access denied"

and to top it all off I can't play Overlord 2 because I can't update my Physx drivers due to it!

First welcome to sevenforums

We could help alot more if you filled in the stuff in systm specs. We need info like computer make, model, video card OS (32 bit or 64), etc
