MSN won't work with specific email

Hello! Hopefully someone can help me with this really annoying issue.
So, I cannot login with my real email adress on MSN, I have the newest version etc.. I tried reinstalling/restarting the computer and it won't work.
I've tried using different accounts, they work flawlessly.
I can still log on my email through the browser without a problem.
The error message I get is : Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

Yes, works without a problem.

So you want to log in to Messenger and are unable to do it but you can log in to your Live account, and you should also be able to log in to the website "my.msn.com" since that also uses your Live ID. All I can think of is to make sure you are using the current version of Windows Live Essentials (2011). The older version (2009) still works for those people who have no need for Messenger since Messenger is the only program that requires the upgrade to WLE 2011. If you don't want to use Messenger but just want to access your email via Windows Live Mail (the program) make sure you do not have the option set to log in to Messenger automatically.
