Dear forumers,

I would like to enlist your kind assistance in arresting my BSOD issue. I get all 3 BSOD errors throughout the day and while doing different things. the 0x00000050 error is usually when trying to install SP1 (I have a thread open in the windows updates section) and it errors out.

The other two errors happen randomly when either running software like malware bytes and/or Windows defender.

Attached is the zip file as per the SevenForum guide's instructions

Hi mshatkus.

As there are multiple bugcheck codes, it would be better to Test your RAM modules for possible errors. Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Also, as the uploaded zip does not contain it, upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Now follow the "Part 3: If You Have Errors:" of How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+

Errors/red lines means one or more RAM is faulty. But the fault may occur due to a faulty DIMM slot, too, which is a motherboard component. Using memtest86+, you can discriminate between a faulty RAM and a faulty motherboard.

How? Say you have two RAM sticks and two DIMM slots. You obtained errors at the test with all RAM sticks installed. Now, remove all the sticks but one. Test it in all the available slots, one by one. Continue the same procedure for all the available sticks.
How to make the inference that is it a RAM issue or it is a motherboard issue? Suppose you have got the result like that:
test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error | Error
RAM2|Good|Good
It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:
test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error |Good
RAM2| Error |Good
It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.

EDIT: It is a laptop; and you may not be able to open it. If you cannot, first check if the laptop is within warranty. If it is, Call Toshiba with the camera snap and ask for a replacement.
If warranty is over, take it to a technician (if possible, take it to Toshiba's service center) and ask them to do the test for you, and you take the decision depending on the results of the test.
