Solved Multiple BSOD, New System. (0x0000003b, win32k.sys, hal.dll)

Hey guys,

I'm having some issues with a newly built . I've now recieved two (2) 0x03b BSOD's both citing different files as the culprit. I had a previous issue with the system randomly rebooting, but I remedied this by increasing my VTT voltage to 1.15 because I have 16gb of memory.

It ran perfectly after that for about 2 weeks, then the BSOD's started.

They happen randomly, when just web surfing or idle, and they don't seem to be caused by stressing the system.

I was successfully able to run multiple stress tests like Prime95, Intel Burn-In, for 24 hours with no issues, but then will get a BSOD randomly surfing the web or just having the PC be idle.

I've attached my error files and minidump files according the thread stickied, hopefully you guys might be able to point me in the right direction for firguring out the issue.

System specs:

Intel i5 2500k
2x MSi 560 Ti Twin Frozr II in SLi
ASuS P8p67-Deluxe Motherboard.
16gb G.Skill DDR3 Ram
Corsair 750W TX Enthusiast PSU.
Windows 7 X64 Ultimate Retail

My system is not overclocked, all drivers are updated, all windows updated are applied, and BIOS is on the latest firmware.

Temperatures aren't the issue either I don't believe., I've been monitoring them with MSi Afterburner and Realtemp.

These were Related to RTCore64.sys MSI Afterburner from Micro-Star Int'l Co. Ltd. Yours is from 2005 I would remove it at least to test.

I've uninstalled MSi Afterburner to see if that eliminates the BSOD's.

Uninstalling MSI Afterburner solved the BSOD's. Thanks for the help, hopefully those with similiar issues with find this thread.
