I believe it is a driver issue however I have updated all of my drivers that I can think of. I was using an Nvidia G Card and switched to ATI (Motherboard supports Crossfire for future use) Me and a Friend have been trying to fix the problem to no success.

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 32-bit
- the original installed OS on the system? Windows XP Corporate upgraded to 7
- an OEM or full retail version?
- Windows 7 Upgrade is Full Retail the XP was my dads.

- What is the age of system (hardware)? December 26th 2010 Was the first use
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Have reinstalled multiple times for various reasons but they were all clean installs (wiping the HDD). Otherwise Dec 26th 2010

Attached is the Requirements listed from the locked thread in Documents.zip

Several problems

1- Five year old ATItools.sys file remove and install the newest driver only

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

2-Symantec Remove and replace with Microsoft Security essentials

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

3- Pool corruption test your memory with memtest

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Thanks for the information however I have done the memtest before and let it run through all passes and it came up clean. I will try it again if I brought the CD with me to college.

Thanks again

Every time I try use the Guru Driver Cleaner and I hit restart my computer It Blue Screens and I believe that screws it up. Any advice?

Edit- Also the Symantec I use isn't listed on the site. It is a Gov't Issued version I got because my dad worked for the Navy. Would any of those removal tools work on it?

I uninstalled both the ATI driver and Symantec from Windows Control Panel and Installed Windows Security and new drivers from the ATI website. I will restart my computer after the Windows Security scans to check for a blue screen (I always get a BSOD on shutdown/restart).

Edit: Also used CCleaner to clean the registry after I uninstalled the above.

Update: It Blue Screened on Restart So I will be giving the Memory Diagnostic test (MemTest86 v 4.10) right now. I am attaching the last Blue Screen Error Report to see if you guys can help with why it Blue screened again. If you reply and it is not a memory issue you message will be sent to my blackberry.

Hello,

I could be Hardware issue. You have any external devices connected ? Because the stacks are pointing to ready boost.

Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Code:
DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (c5)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is
caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the driver
verifier against any new (or suspect) drivers, and if that doesn't turn up
the culprit, then use gflags to enable special pool.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000004, memory referenced
Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
Arg3: 00000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation

Alright Ill run it again when I go to bed. The screen just said pass complete and I could restart the computer. Isn't it the same test just over and over again?

I ran the memtestx86 through 7 passes with no Errors. I did blue screen when I shutdown to run the test, when the test ended when Windows was loading up. I added the two dmp files to some of my previous along with my CBS test results.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

run memtest agian
Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

memtestx86 just ran last night for 10 hours straight with 7 passes and no errors. I fixed the Symantec one already but just did the removal tool to see if any leftovers were on my computer. I will look for drivers however I just downloaded the ATI one of their website yesterday so that report might have been a older version.

I know Symantec is removed (with all drivers), the only driver I think is out of date is the ATITools.sys and the memtest is still clean. I had a friend recommend starting up with one stick of RAM at a time to see if one is bad and will be trying that now. For now here is the new dmp files.

Just tested each stick of RAM and they all did the same thing on Shutdown. BSOD on Shutdown and reboot. I doubt any of my Hardware is corrupted or bad because it is all new.

Hello,

Since the MemTest passed without any problem. Some other Hardware might be caused the problem. Run a Hardware Diagnostic (Hard Drive) follow this link for instructions Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger
See if your Motherboard is generating heat check and make sure the Processor is placed correctly. No pins are bend etc. Make sure there is enough Thermal paste applied.
