TL;DR check my dump files, pretty please. I am at a loss.

Hello,

I've been at this for quite some time. I'd consider myself computer savvy but never have I ever encountered something like this.

RAM tested - ok
GPU tested - ok
All manners of stability testing (PRIME95, FurMark, HeavyLoad etc.) - system runs just fine.

These BSODs are always completely random, one minute I am playing a game, the second I am just browsin the interwebs and it happens.

Did this Driver Verifier thingy in cmd, it caused about half the crashes, managed to narrow it down to Microsoft drivers only (selected only Microsoft drivers and it only crashed testing them) - all of these came up with
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
one was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
all of them refferencing ntoskrnl.exe

Some of these BSODs refference HIDs, and I have been having a problem with my keyboard on my previous W install, it disconnected randomly etc. On current install, it sometimes does not load the basic drivers when booting, especially when W is shutdown unexpectedly (plugging in/out solves this, got GIGABYTE Force K85).

Note though, that the crashes weren't happening on my previous W install, so I think it should be a driver of sorts causing all this.

If you installed any drivers with this program, use a system restore point or system backup. If neither are available and you don't want to go for a clean install,
- if you don't know what drivers were installed, check if there are logs of driver installations, if requested I can spit the logs for you to find out
- if you do know, go into device manager and revert the drivers.

So I take it that program is a no go for any driver related work?

Uninstalled.

Where can I find these logs? Somewhere in event log? I haven't had a crash for 6+ days (fiddled with the drivers a bit) with medium to high PC useage. Do tell me if you want me to do the driver verifier forced crash.

Thanks for your time.

Similar programs are a no go.

Those logs are either in %systemroot%\program files (x86)\iobit or %AppData%\IObit\Driver Booster.

%appdata% folder has nothing of interest and the program files one does not exist.

ASUS MOBO Issues never resolved even by ASUS:
1) MOBO will NOT boot from other than the Default HDD drive.
2) MOBO will NOT boot Most DOS based CDs
You might want to check my thread:

as similar issue.

If you have a router in place, you might try and take it offline for awhile and see.

Thanks for your support, I'll try that and some other things. Will probably end up reinstalling the OS and not skimping on the drivers. Marking as resolved.
