Been getting different BSOD's while gaming, sometimes it occurs while watching netflix or just randomly. The BSOD's have ntoskrnl.exe in common. This has been extremely frustrating.

Here is what I've done so far:

1) Ran sfc /scannow. Everything looks good.

2) Ran Memtest86+. Everything is good for 12+ passes.

3) Uninstalled completely and reinstalled nvidia drivers.

4) Enabled Driver Verifier. Only checked Microsoft Corp items, restarted computer. Right after the Windows logo, it restarts. I had to go into safe mode to disable.

I don't know what this is. Further, my internet will randomly drop sometimes, after using it for to long, the pc will drop connection. I'll have to disable and renable the adapter and it comes back online.

Any help with troubleshooting this? Thank you for your help!

Seems like hardware problem. Are you overclocking? If you are, then you should stop for the time being.

 Clean boot

Reduce items at start-up. No software except anti-virus is required plus doing this improves the time for logging into windows:
Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:
  • Click on the :orb:
  • Type CMD on Search
  • Left click and Run as Administrator
  • Type SFC /scannow
Full tutorial here:
Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it.

 Hard Drive Diagnostics

  • Double click and open my computer.
  • Right click on desired drive and hit properties.
  • Click on tools tab and Check now.

Make scans with the following:

Kaspersky TDSSKiller

Thanks for the response.

I do overclock, and have adjusted voltages (never to high of voltages) and decreased the clocks over a few years; I believe my CPU has been suffering from chip degradation over the years I've owned it. Everything passes stress tests, prime95, fur mark, heaven, memtest86+. The one that has been tricky is the graphics card. I have never pushed it far, and have since dropped it back to stock. Maybe I should flash the bios of the gpu? I've never done that, but believe I am capable of doing it.

Just ran SFC /scannow, says everything is fine.
Just ran hard disk check, found no errors or bad sectors. All looks good.
I ran ESET and it found 3 things, and deleted them. Attached is the log file of it.

As for clean boot. Do I essentially add one extra service at a time, restart with driver verifier, and see if it boots, rinse and repeat until it doesn't?

Please disable the overclock first.
