Hello Everyone:

I am having some issues which I'd appreciate some help with. I have experienced quite a few BSOD's and the error codes are

ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

I have tried to follow along with the other posts from BSOD crashes to fix this myself but I have to admit failure. any help will be appreciated.
I have tried to follow the posting instruction if anything is missing please let me know

Thank-you in advance

Jeff

1. ASACPI.sys the 2005 version is a huge cause of BSOD's

Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit " (it's about the 8th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).
Code:
[B][COLOR=Red]ASACPI.sys  [/COLOR][/B]      fffff880`0484f000    fffff880`04857000    0x00008000    0x42476c4c    [B][COLOR=Red]28/03/2005[/COLOR][/B] 06:30:36
2. Please update this driver:
NCREMOTEPCI.SYS , which is Technisat digital satellite driver:
http://www.technisat.com/index149b.html?nav=Software_Drivers,en,33
Code:
NCREMOTEPCI.SYS fffff880`02782000 fffff880`02790000 0x0000e000 0x4505cb76 [COLOR=Red][B]12/09/2006[/B][/COLOR] 00:47:50
3. Dumps also indicate your GPU drivers as the culprit

(Do these steps even if you have already have the latest ATI drivers)

- Uninstall the ATI drivers including Catalyst Control Center
- Use driver sweeper to remove leftover ATI display driver files http://phyxion.net/Driver-Sweeper/Driver-Sweeper/Version-2-8-5/
- Reboot
- Install the latest drivers AMD Graphics Drivers & Software
- Reboot

4.Test your RAM(Do it if the above does not work)
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Code:
BugCheck 100000B8, {fffff80002e0bc40, fffffa80061e3b60, 0, 0}

Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmdag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmdag.sys

Thanks for the quick reply

Thanks for the quick reply Yowanvista

I have updated the ASACPI.sys file, and have been searching since your reply came in for the NCREMOTEPCI.SYS file but can not find it, maybe I'm not doing something right. It is not at the http://www.technisat.com/index149b.html?nav=Software_Drivers,en,33 link or at least I did not see it and

I also searched google
ncremote site:http://technisat.com/

with no files found. This driver seems to be included in the ATI driver package do you have a suggestion I may be able to follow up on.

Im sorry I seem to be incompetent

Jeff

Through the page yowanvista linked to, in the L.H. window I scrolled down to PC products >> Sat (DVB-S) then in R.H. Window randomly picked Sky Star USB HD.
There was a ncremotepci.sys in there that could be installed. Whether that's your DigiSat (??) or not I don't know...., but it was dated 10 May 2010.
