Multiple letter for one drive

Hello everyone i made an account to see if i could get some help with this issue.

i would like to know why the task manager show my hard drives labeled with more than one letter
and how do i fix it?

also every time disk 3 is plugged my pc runs really slow and explorer doesn't load it just stay there with a black screen however i can use the task manager and cmd but nothing else.

also note that disk 3 is and old OS while disk 1 its just stuff and i cant use disk management with disk 3 plugged.
im on windows 10.
