Solved My browser is Chrome. Wy do some page opened using Internet Explorer

Hello

My default browser is Chrome. I want to upgrade a software to the latest version. When I click the download link, the Internet Explorer browser is opening up.

I did look in Chrome configuration and it is mark as the default one. If that so, why do IE do appear.

Is there a default downloading browser? If so, I want Chrome.

Hello Martin,

That is odd. Double check in Default Programs to make sure that Google Chrome is set as the default program for all of it's associations.

The problem was when I click on a link from an help in external application ( trading software). Maybe the program was compiled using Internet Explorer extension. I went in the Windows 7 load application and put to off Internet Explorer. I did not succeed to open the help using Chrome, but I did get my info by searching on the web. Chrome was set to be the default, but not for this one...
