my core 2 duo temprature is 56 . is it normal?

i have a core 2 duo e7300 processor and when i just start the pc the temprature of ( core 0: is 56c ) and (core 1 : is 35c ) i wanna know is this temprature is normal?
p.s i live in cairo egypt and the winter here is warm

errrm i dont know but 2 cores will work separately both will have diffrent temperatures. if it continues to be like that even when you not doing any thing you might have a problem with the heatsink or the fan when was the last time you clean the inside of you computer??

My E6600 2.4 runs at a freezing 84F and my E8200 2.66 runs at 90F.


132F for yours is high.

i thought it was the fan so i changed it and i cleaned all the pc

Get all the dust off the heatsink and fan, change the thermal grease other than that, not much else you can do.

I just cut another whole in the side of 1 of my cases and attached a 120 mm fan pointing straight at the cpu, along with that and giving the fan and heatsink it`s yearly checkup, Dropped it 20 degrees.

You can also add water cooling.
