He's fairly tech savy and can't figure it out. He has a program that checks your BSOD reports and he says it keeps coming back with different items every time. Could be this driver this time, and something else entirely the next (even though everything checks out)
If it's not a BSOD it's a computer freeze complete with the sound suck on whatever sound was currently playing. He's re-installed windows 7 a couple of times to no avail. Swapped out ram, I even gave him an nVidia GT 610 gpu (he's been using built in for years) thinking it could be that failing. He's even gone as far as removing cmos battery and everything and it keeps happening and random times. I'm at a loss myself at what could be the cause. Crash points I know about are when he's on facebook or watching videos in VLC media player.
Any help would be appreciated, he's old and I don't want him dying over this lol
