My default search engine for Chrome was changed?

I turned on my computer and when I opened up google chrome, the search engine was Yahoo rather than Google. I checked my settings and it still has google as my default search engine but it's only letting me use yahoo search. How do I fix this?

Adwcleaner will do it, however, if allowed to run un-checked, it can be somewhat caustic. One must go through each tab and un-check what is known good and what is to keep. I believe adwcleaner will root out the Yahoo home page problem.
