My disc drive isn't working.

I am trying to install a game but my DVD drive isn't reading the disc. I put the disc in and I can hear it start to run but then it stops and starts to make this jerking sound. It says there is no disc.

Don't laugh.
Make sure you only have one disc in the drive. I have forgot and left a disc in the drive and a few days late put another disc in the drive and it does make a racket.

Next, will the drive play other DVD's?
