My Flash Voyager asking me to format a disk?

I insert my Flash-Voyager into my PC / USB Port and a window pops up from "Microsoft Windows" You need to format the disk in drive J: before you can use it. Do you want to format it? (options) Format Disk or Cancel. (Drive J is what I've used before, so I'm not concerned about the drive)

I've never had this before. How can I change the format, so I can look at and add things to my Flash Voyager? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Scotty

P.S. I have two others and I have no problems with either one.

Hmmmm, my first thought is that the drive has something 7 just doesn't like on it. My second is that it is formatted to FAT, which Seven doesn't like.

Try saving anything on the drive that you need, then let 7 format it. Maybe that will fix it.

How old is the drive?

I fixed it....
I plugged in my Flash Voyager, went to My Computer, Right clicked, went to Properties and under Tools tab, I clicked on Error-Checking / Click Now to reformat J:\. I lost what was on there, but at least it works.
Thanks, Scott
