Hello!

I currently have a wired Broadband connection(PPoe connection) which drops at irregular intervals and resumes after 10 or so .. seconds
I tried various "solutions" including registry modifications, commands in command prompt and so on , but with no result.
- Happened on Vista and Now on Win 7
- Tried different network adapters
- Scanned my PC with 3 different anti virus programs

..... No result :(

Pls if anyone can help I would really appreciate. TY

Welcome to the Windows 7 Support forum.
Ty, are you also running a router or are you directly connected to the Broadband Modem?
Also is your system custom built?
If you would be so kind to fill out your system specs which we see in the bottom left side of the screen we can begin to assist you in trouble shooting.

Adrian

There are less chance that IPv6 might be cause. try disabling it and see if it shows some effect. You can enable it back if there's no effect at all

You should either try upgrading the routers firmware and also try using a different channel for your router in the routers set up page. These two things cause many problems such as you are describing. :geek:
