my internet explorer wont load.

hi,

im having some issues with internet explorer:
it keeps trying to load when i start up internet explorer
in the bottom left side of the screen it keeps showing a clock n doesnt loading bar loads but really slow and ends up going nowhere.

please help thanks

If you mean the home page not loading in Internet Explorer, first try going to another website such as bing.com or cnn.com to see if it works. If not, go to Tools --> Internet Options. Then click on the "Connections" tab and click on "LAN Settings". If anything is checked off there, uncheck and ensure nothing remains checked there. Click "OK" and "OK" again.

If this does not help or you did not have this problem, did Internet Explorer work properly? If so, try performing a System Restore to a date when it did work and see if that corrects the issue. If not, note any errors you receive when launching Internet Explorer.

Addition to above, what is the version of IE you use? Goto tools, Internet options and under home page click on Use blank. Close and re-open. if still the same, goto Advanced and try to complete reset or restore advanced settings. Once completed, restart browser and check.
