Solved My Laptop Slow Start up, Crash after sleep

May I ask why you didn't tell us before that you were using two anti virus programs? Remove McAffe.....
Malwarebytes will work with a anti virus program with no problem.
marsmimar and I have both posted this information. You do not need to turn off Avast when running Malwarebytes. Just a note, don't scan with two programs at the same time. Have you used any Tune Up programs or registry cleaners? For us to help you we need timely information.

Alright so i completely forgot about Mcafee, I rarely use it. Umm i dont think I have used any tune up or registry cleaners on my laptop? Could you name some so i can make sure?

Andd I've completely remove Mcafee but my laptop still starts up slow?
Current Programs: Spybot, Malwarebytes, and Avast. Those 3 are the ones I am currently using

Sorry for the wait, I had school and stuff so I couldnt give a immediately response :(

Alright, well the results after my scan are..
I removed a bunch of adware? I'm not sure if thats the problem? but i didn't get anything else from the scan. Soo now what would you like me to do?
And how do i make sure my 2 antivirus aren't colliding with each other? I actually have Mcafee,Avast, and malware bytes. Not sure if Spybot Seach And Destroy is an antivirus, but i have that too.
You simply must not have multiple antivirus programs installed and running at the same time. Last time, I did not recall you say that you installed Mcafee as well? Are you saying you now have Avast, Mcafee and Malwarebytes installed and running at your computer right now plus you also have Spybot? That is a recipe for disaster. I suggest you must only have one of these programs installed. Not sure if Spybot is OK with any of them but Avast, Mcafee and Malwarebytes must not linger there at the same time. You must have only one of them installed and running at your computer. A very slow computer is a very common symptom of antivirus program conflict.

KK, so I have removed Mcafee but i still have the same slow start up problem :(

If you updated Malwarebytes, ran a full scan, and no malware was found, I'd suggest performing a Clean Boot to isolate any problems. This Microsoft article explains how to do that. Make sure to take your time and follow the steps exactly.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Could you tell me how to update malware bytes?
nvm

Ok, so i fully updated malwarebytes and did a full scan on my laptop and no luck. Infection free~ so ill try to follow the link you gave me and see how it goes :)

Glad to hear Malwarebytes didn't find any problems. Let us know how the clean boot turns out.

For some reason Aero theme is now working, Audio service it running again, Internet no longer freezing.
That takes care of all those problems, just gotta solve the slow start up problem now...
Going to try the clean boot up and see how it goes, hopefully it fixes everything :)

Other than my slow starting up problem, my laptop seems to be switching off aero theme. I've tried changing it but its greyed out. I've also try troubleshooting it, but it says the theme couldn't be applied. Sometimes is switches itself back on though? So anyone know the solution to this?

Ok, after constant problems that kept on arising. I just decided to system restore my laptop to a couple of weeks back. Everything was fine for about a day, then I notice all the problems came back when I updated window 7? I think this is the problem. After an windows update my laptop began to start up slow again, freeze on certain sites, revert to windows basic theme, etc.. So I believe this is the problem, has this happened to anyone else?? Help would be appreciated! How can I not install an update for my laptop?

How many updates did you try to install? I usually do updates in small groups (maybe 3 - 5 at a time.) After installing those updates I'll run my machine for a while to make sure it's working correctly. If it is, I'll install the next 3 - 5. If a problem occurs I'll know exactly which group of updates to uninstall. Uninstall all of the updates in that group, reboot, and install just one at a time. They'll either all install properly or you'll know which specific update is the problem. Ignore that update for the time being and continuing installing the rest 3 - 5 at a time. When all updates are installed and machine is working right, try installing the problem update. If it still won't install right you'll probably need to Google that update to see if others have had the same problem.

Before installing your updates you could also run the system update readiness tool. This Microsoft article gives more info.

What is the System Update Readiness Tool?

And if this doesn't help you should be able to get free update support from Microsoft.

If you know you don't need a particular update, you can hide it so it doesn't keep asking you to install it.

And finally you can look at this tutorial for resetting Windows Update components.

If system restore from a couple of weeks back got your machine working correctly, then yes, I'd go back to that restore point. When you manually search for updates (Start > All Programs > Windows Updates) your computer will be scanned to determine what updates are needed. When the scan finishes you'll see a list of available updates. You can select which updates to install by clicking in the box immediately to the left of each update. If the box is empty when you click, a check mark will appear. If a check mark is already in the box it will disappear when you click.

As I said, I do about 5 at a time starting with the critical, then the important, and finally, the optional updates. Depending on how may total updates you have, doing one at a time could take hours, especially if your computer has to reboot after some of those updates. I think you'd be safe trying maybe 3 at a time. Just make sure 3 are check marked and the others are not. Click the Install button and only those three will be installed.

You might want to write down on a piece of paper which three updates are in each group. (Each update will have a different KB number.) If your machine starts to act funny you'll know exactly which three updates were in the last group to be installed. Uninstall just those three and then reinstall one at a time.

Somethings I do after installing several Windows updates is reboot whether or not Windows instructs me to reboot. Also when Windows starts and you can see your desktop don't do anything until the hard drive light stops blinking. Then I go back and get some more updates if needed. After installing many updates I also check and see if I need to defrag with Windows 7 built in defrag tool. Windows 7 really doesn't have a fragmentation problem but I check anyway. I'm normally a 2 to 3 %.
