My Microsoft Office 2013 Has Disappeared From My Desktop

Hello, I installed Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus about a month ago. I thought I made a copy of all of its contents that were in a file folder: Word, Excel, OneNote, etc. Unfortunately someone jumped on my computer and did something with this file folder. I cannot find the file folder of shortcuts on my PC. I just need to locate the file folder in my C drive so I can make another shortcut folder on my desktop. I don't think they're missing or deleted from my system as it still pulls up Word when I click on a document. I imagine that someone deleted the file folder on my desktop for some reason and I may need to locate each individual program to get back that folder. I tried copying the Microsoft Office folder from my C drive as well as Microsoft Office 2015 but no dice. Any help is much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Check the Recycle Bin. If they were deleted they should be in there and you can restore from the Recycle Bin.

Or if this is recent, run System Restore using an available restore point that is BEFORE they did whatever they did. System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

System restore will not delete any user data or e-mail.

You could search with 'Everything' (<<<click). It is a very good and effective tool.

CC Cleaner is know to clause issue like this. I would always do a full backup before running it. I have seen it tear up lots of systems.

go to program files and locate the microsoft office folder, look in the office 15 folder, then on each office application right click and select create a shortcut.
send the shortcuts to a folder on your desktop.

do you see the office apps in the start menu?

I forgot to mention the proper shortcuts are not to the exe files. To get the shortcuts created properly you should run the Office Repair from the control panel.
