So, I got my new card today and must say, Im really loving it.

I got the HighFlow Bracket and backplate to go with it, only to find out that EVGA now ships the newer cards with HF bracket already on them.
So now I have a extra one..

Heres what it looked like after I got it put together.

Sorry about the bad quality. I could not find my camera so just used my phone. :o

Installation went well, with one minor problem.
The card was a bit larger than I anticipated. I had to move one of my SSDs to higher ground so it would fit in my Antec 900 case.
But, theres room so long as a a HD is not in that area.

At first boot, I was actually worried the card was dead. I had to check if it was running. I had no clue my 4890 was actually that loud.

Im still experimenting with the card, and getting used to Nvidias control Panel, but I did manage to get a couple benchmarks for those interested.

For comparison purposes, Ill show the 4890 vs 570, just in case anyone in is curious how much difference there is.

At 1080P, my 4890 ran Metro2033 pretty well with Med. settings. A stutter in a few places, but overall quite well.

The one on the left is the 4890, and the right is the 570 with the same settings:

The 570 did had PhysX enabled, otherwise the same settings.

I then tried the 570 at High settings with AAA, x16AF, Tesselation, and Adv. Phys-X at 1080P.

And heres what Unigine showed at 1080P:

So far Im quite impressed with its performance. And its actually quite and relatively cool.

eVGA Precision shows idel at 38-39C. And by enabling the Fan Profile in it, so far Im seeing load temps of 65ish give or take a couple in Benchmarks.

And heres a GPUz snip for those interested in all the Geeky stuff ;)

Finding my way around the Nvidia control Panel will take a bit used to, being as Ive spent the last few years accustomed to ATIs CCC.

But,one thing I really love so far ...

I use alot of profiles for different setting for AA, AF, Vsync etc for different games.
Im used to setting these up, and enabling them before I launch a game.

Now I just set a games profile, and it enables it automatically when the game launches. Very Nice :)

Although I am very happy thus far with card and its performance, I cant help but wonder if my, now, Mid-Range, Q9650 & DDR2 RAM may be holding it back a little....
