My pc has been randomly freezing periodically and follows no pattern.

For months now my pc has been subject to random crashes. I need to power down my pc every time this happens because it becomes unresponsive after this happens and I have no idea why. I've cleared the '%temp%' and the 'c:\windows\temp' folders already and I have my admin events in a compressed (zipped) folder, but I don't know how to upload them here sadly. I would massively appreciate any help on this as it is souring my experience of my pc massively. Thanks.

So we both are speaking the same language; what do you mean by crashes?

* Does it shut down all by it's self?
* Do you get a BSOD?
* Does it just sit there and do nothing? (freeze)
* Are you doing anything in particular when this happens?
* Do you monitor your temperatures, if so what are they?
* Are you over clocked?

Thanks for the specs.
Could you add your power supply to them.

I don't see any logs.

When I say crashes, whatever it is im doing at the time remains in visual sight, but I can no longer move the mouse or do anything anymore, other than power down my pc.

No I get no BSOD it literally just sits there and does nothing. It never powers down itself. I am playing games or on google chrome primarily when it happens, but if I put the computer on sleep mode it will still crash then and the screen will return to as if I have taken it out of sleep mode. I am not overclocked.

you could try turning off Sleep and Hibernation for testing and see if the problem is still there.

**Do you monitor your temps?**
