My Win 7 System Restore calendar is missing, I have tried every way I can find to try and retrieve it without success. The calendar was available and a I used it successfully a few months ago.

Any help in locating my System Restore calendar would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

In that System Restore component, (Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore), when you click Next and the new page displays, did you click on the option to "Show more restore points"?

Vista and Win 7 no longer displays available restore points in calendar format, just as a list.

I was not aware that the calendar has been eliminated. Such a shame, the Restore Points generated automatically by Windows, bailed me out big time more than once.

I do get a list of manual System Image Restore Point - Backups that I initiated on an external hard drive. I take it from your comments that the automatically generated Win 7 Restore Points have been done away with, true?

I'm dealing with a BSOD issue and was hoping that I could use a Restore Point rather than an image backup to try and bail me out?

Thank you!
