My Win7 PC seems to be stockpiling dns cache data effecting browsing.

I have checking in Event Viewer and still cannot pinpoint what changed in my system. Seems like, for the last week, I have noticed that when I open Chrome, it will delay actually opening my homepage while is states Resolving Host in the bottom left corner. Usually, after a few minutes, it will come up. I have disabled every extension that I had in Chrome. Then, to make matters worse, after a while, when I am browsing, the system will begin to hang up. I will then have to close my browser and restart or reboot all together. I read up on the issue and some pages I read suggested ipconfig/flushdns, so I did. What I found here was once I flushed it, Chrome would open my home page right away and things would be back to normal. Then I would give it another 30 minutes or so, and it would begin hanging up again. This time when I flush, it takes about a minute or two to complete the process. And again, the browser would work again. I am on the latest release of Chrome as well as Firefox, and my system acts the same for both browsers. It almost seems like my computer is packing data into the dns cache until a point that it affects my browsing.

The only things that I have done in the past couple of weeks was install a UniFi AP Long Range Wi-Fi system, which consisted of software and running a cat5 from my gateway straight to the unit that looks like a oversized smoke detector. The other thing that happened was I was having problems with my Xfinity cams dropping so the Comcast rep installed a router behind my existing gateway.

Any help, I appreciate your time. I am just at a point where me Googling different scenarios of what's going on isn't helping me one bit. Thanks again.
