For starters its not OEM --- clearly states Upgrade package (Vista to W7)
it does look a little suspect copyright and issue version no, look a little to fiegnt
W7 was the most counterfitted product ever
leaving the packaging side of things
You do not have to use this disk to upgrade---- other option are available
The main issue will be the product code ---- google it, if it appears multiple times then likely non-genuine
Sorry i forgot to mention use it on 1 notebook, I installed the Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 from the disc which image linked to the topic with clean install without problems. What do you mean, which base installation files missing? "Upgrade package" do you mean it throws errors when installing ? I do not have errors when installing from the discas its an upgrade disc it will NOT have certain base installation files to complete a clean install
ok lets have a look at what you have please run this tool copy/paste the output
No idea what you originally had on the notebook
MSDN installs are non-genuine Never meant for resale.... missed that bit from your earlier post
also never issued via disc download only from MS.... those licences cost $1000's

This is really confusing
Disc clearly states Upgrade and oddly its the only comment made in english, SHA1 relates to a full SP1 install
The report is telling me you have W7 KMS Professional installed
it is also validating to a non MS server!!!!
It also has no SLIC table which means the product code to validate it has to be either Retail or System Builder
you will not easily be able to downgrade to Home premium easily, and the current product code you have will not work
as this install is non-genuine, why worry about this disc
NO WAY....... thats a Home Premium disc, clearly stated ..... the report shows as W7 Professional KMS
(KMS installs are only available to Companies and cost them 1000's of $ That code you bought and used is a con, and likely asked you to use a modded install program(kmspico) to validate against a fraudulent server or 127.000.0.1... self validate)
Any W7 OS can be upgraded as all versions are included within the disc..... the Product code used to upgrade to a higher version basically allows a more fully featured OS
MS DO NOT offer W7 downloads..... havn't done for years
DUMP IT
Im outa here
