My Windows 7 Laptop isn't picking up my router anymore

Hello sevenforums, my name is Gunner

I changed the name & passwords on the routers in my house. All the other devices find all the networks just fine, but my windows 7 finds every other connection except the one I need to connect to.
I'm thinking I need todo something like clear the saved network data? I tried adding it manually and tried removing it from the "Known Networks."

got an ethernet cable, plug it in should then auto detect and connect.

The Ethernet driver is not working on my PC. It's not on my laptops manufactures website like the wireless adapters

It should be on your laptops homepage >> drivers, download it to a usb transfer it in.
When you left click on the signal strength icon does it not show any networks.

Nothing about ethernet on the page. Yes I can see other networks, just not the one I need to connect to.

Gunner, by chance is your router broadcasting @ 5Ghz? Is your laptop able to connect on that? If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was the issue (I'm taking a pot-shot, I'm very far from being an expert).
