I just recently purchased a brand new copy of NASCAR SimRacing, however when I go to run the "RunGame.exe", nothing happens. I've tried compatibility mode and running it as a administrator to no avail. Does anybody know what to do to fix this?

The problem is not the game. It's likely caused by a new incompatibility between Win 7 and the copy protection for the software that you are trying to load.

Last year, Microsoft removed support for SECDRV, a copy protection scheme used on older software, thus rendering this software unloadable. It affects mostly games. However, there is a way around it.

See post #4 in this thread for the workaround:

FIFA 14 doesn't work after Windows reinstall

I created two batch files for my PC and put them on the desktop. One for starting games and one for stopping them. It's easy to run those commands if you do it that way.
