need Dual Vibration Gamepad Dirver for 7

I had this Dual Vibration Gamepad driver for WinXP and it was working well.

When I Upgrade to Windows 7, I re-installed the same driver for XP and it setup well, but it gives me this message " the controller is not connected"

Please if there is any one would help me here

From what i can gather only xbox360 controllers (or derivatives) are compatible with vista & above.......

i was trying to find 3rd party S/W the other day for my USB joypad with no joy.....:(
