Need Enhanced USB 2.0 driver

I have been searching all day to be able to get the enhanced root hub USB 2.0 driver for windows 7 on a Lenovo 7269D2U ThinkCentre M58e. I have searched everywhere I can think of to get this driver. I downloaded an Intel chipset driver package INF driver 9.4.0,1027 which shows the correct USB enhanced driver in the list, but it does not install.

Can anyone point me to the correct usable driver for this PC. the usb ports give a message " your device could perform better on a high speed port..." and transferring files from them is excruciatingly slow.

Any help would be most appreciated.

According to its support site, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M58e Desktop PC does not have an Intel chipset driver listed for Windows 7.

The Intel chipset driver it has listed is version 9.0.0.1009 (dated November 2008) and is for Windows XP and Windows Vista.

It has an Intel G41 chipset, so I'm guessing 9.2.0.1030 or 9.4.0.1017 may work.

Be patient and wait for someone else here to reply who may be able to help you.

Have you checked if there is setting in bios?

If you can't find anything, try resetting bios to default values. Might be called reset to optimal defaults or something similar.
