Solved need fan setup help....

ok here is my question i have the cougar solution case.. it can hold two 120mm on top, 2 120mm on the side, 2x120 in front or 1x 140mm fan in the front and it has a 120mm in the rear..

my question is what is better for front intake 1x 140mm or 2x 120mm fans...

thanks...

Basic things to remember under normal condition. It can vary from computer to computer.

1. You want more intakes than exhaust. I will create a positive pressure inside the case if done correctly.

2. Intakes are normally front and bottom.

3. Exhaust are back and top.

To answer your question I would choose 2-120mm for the front over 1-140.

With that case can you remove the drive bays if you don't use them. That would help a lot. The are sitting right in the way of the front fans air flow.

That is quite a nice case for the cost.
