Solved Need help finding wifi drivers that support Windows 7

Alright, so I just installed Windows 7 on a seperate partition, and now I have two OS running on a hard-drive. I installed all drivers, but I can't get wifi running on it. I tried using device manager from windows 8 to find the driver required for wifi. After a few trial and error by installing drivers (mainly installing realtek and intel chipset) it still didn't work. How can I get wifi working on windows 7 on this laptop? Currently connected to the internet via a Ethernet, but that won't be the case in the future. Really need wifi for windows 7 to be complete.

Alright, downloaded the following application you listed, and it installed the wifi driver. Wifi now works! Yay!

I have four devices left that have a yellow warning sign on them, I've taken a picture of each and posted them, I'll be extremely amazed and what you guys can pull off.

My touchpad is a bit wonky, I think I can find a driver for it. But if not I'll provide the ids of that too later on.

I've found the "DriverIdentifier.com" site seems to almost always have suitable drivers. Search on the complete hardware ID string.

For your PCI\Ven_8086&DEV_9C31&SUBSYS_201F1043 item (Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller) hardware you should slide down on this page to the ASUS 3.0.0.19 64-bit driver.

For your PCI\Ven_1814&DEV_3298&SUBSYS_E056105B item (Ralink Bluetooth controller) you should slide down on this page to the latest ASUS Win7 x64 version of the driver.

For your PCI\Ven_8086&DEV_0A03&SUBSYS_131D1043 item (PCI Data Acquisition controller) you should slide down on this page to the latest ASUS Win7 x64 version of the driver.


No guarantees here, but these look promising.

Don't know about your "unknown hardware" item.

That device is a Realtek PCIe card reader.

Go to this page, scroll down a bit to the item for the 6.3.9600.28150 driver version, and then click on the "download" button to retrieve the ZIP file containing the installer. You may have to enter a "captcha" value the first time visiting this site, but a cookie is left on your machine so you probably won't have to enter it again should you ever visit that site subsequently for any other driver.

Anyway, unzip it and then go down into the sub-folder created by the unzip, and run the SETUP.EXE to install the Realtek driver.

Should work I hope.
