Hello every one, I am hoping some one will be able to help me. I have been trying for the last few days to get NWN to play fullscreen. I have searched many forums and have tried many things to get it to work, but i have had no luck.
I dont have black strips what i have is a small box in the centre of the screen, playing the game, with a border which is black and red and it looks like its moving. lol Real hard to explain what i mean but that fills the rest of the screen, when i change resolution the border shrinks to the box leaving it then with just a black border. But you can just see the other border around the edge of the box.
I hope this makes sense, would have posted a screen shot but dunno how to lol.
Thanks.

Probably won't help but, I have my NWN in a window, and in the nwn.ini under
[Display Options] there should be
AllowWindowedMode=1
change the 1 to 0, see if it does anything.

If not a fullscreen option might be there, so set windowed to 0 and fullscreen to 1.

I have made sure that i have the latest driver from ATi and i have all so been into the settings and there is actually no option for stretching, only thing i could find was one saying full screen, in which i have selected. And still the game only plays in a box in the centre of the screen. I have been told that the area around the box ( It's a black background with a red smoke effect moving around ) is part of the game, and that part is the only thing that changes when i change the resolution. All so i have uninstalled and installed another copy of nwn just incase it was some thing wrong with the first copy, but i still have the same problem :(

i have nvn1 and 2 running on win7 with no problems at all, on vista i had a problem with black screens on nwn1 during the intro, but clicking to the next screen fixed that. I have a setting for my nvidia graphics card in the nvidia conrol panel that stretches fullscreen, no stretch or stretch to nvidia settings, i was hoping ur ati had something similar. Have you tried reducing your desktop resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768 before u launch the game?
