Since I got Windows 7, I can't play videos in full screen with the Silverlight player. I didn't have any problems with XP.

Any ideas?

What browser are you using for the Silverlight videos? Additionally, what happens when you attempt to video a Silverlight video in full screen, an error or something else? Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Silverlight to see if this remedies the issue?

I'm using IE. When I try to go full screen it will play in an area about half screen size. No error messages or anything like that. Videos play but just not on the full screen.

I haven't tried reinstalling or anything.

Same problems as above, I can play videos, but toolbar that lets you pause, play, stop, resize window is gone.
I have tried numerous fixes, settings, restores, it must be a windows update issue.
Anyone know what windows update causes this problem. Or what settings need to be changed. Im using silverlight 4, windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

There has to be a compatibility issue where Silverlight just won't work on Windows 7.

In some aspects windows 7 reminds me all over again all the problems I had with Vista. If I didnt need windows 7 I'd be like most and certainly settle for XP, at least most stuff on it just WORKS!!!!! (most times)

and I bet if you watch closely the toolbar application disappears when you load a video. Its an update just got to work out which one.

Hopefully they might re-design silverlight with better, safer controls, and also SP1 might resolve issues.
Even though probably be SP2 before it will get better again. yawn.
Vista 64 bit=headache, windows 7 64 bit=migraine. and less ZZZZZzzzzz.s all is good but getting this silverlight application working how I want it to is driving me nuts.

If I remember correctly when it worked right on XP, the toolbar would disappear when you went to full screen and would reappear when you moved the cursor.

On Windows 7 it would still disappear and reappear properly, it's just that the video would only be playing on part of the screen.

Windows 7 came installed, but I'm not impressed. Had XP on my old computer and had less problems.
