Need Help please!

hi,

i am on windows 7 and have just accidentally changed all my programs to run with firefox and now i cannot open anything unless i find the program manually. Although for some programs i cannot find it and therefore am stuck without being able to use some programs. any help or further questions?

lol how would you change all of them hehe well you can certainly right click a filetype and click open with and then select the program you want to run it with and then check the box always run with this program something like this and then all files that have the same file type will run with that program i dunno if there is a faster way then this

thanks guys, i don't know how i did it either! i still can't work out how to fix it :/ can i go back to this morning somehow, before i made this mistake?

What program is Firefox opening which it isn't supposed to? You can only specify a single program to open all of the same filetype. Was it your Word Processor, Internet Explorer, videos?

Check System Restore to see if you have a restore point before you made the change, then restore back to it. You can always undo it if necessary.
