Solved Need help to restore normal text from italics

It would help people to even start to have an idea of how they may help you if you list some helpful information such as which programs/applications are affected, what have you actually tried so far and have you installed any new software lately? Thanks to Boozad and ADDRAM for responding -I discovered why the text in Windows text and some applications were italicized.
In a windows Color and Appearance window found in Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Personalization>Window Color Custom>Advanced I found a tab and for some odd reason the italiccized box was checked. When I unchecked it the issue disappeared.
