Need help with BIOS setup on computer?

Hello I need the advanced setting in the BIOS setup it isn't there can anyone help me or know a way to get the advanced setting back?


I have a Windows 7 and using an Acer Aspire

Welcome to the forum. All BIOS are different was it normally there or did you have to use a key to get to it a lot have basic BIOS and a notify takes you to advanced. We need to know motherboard and BIOS before we can help

I have no idea if I had advanced before or not, this is my first time. My module is Aspire5733Z I don't know where to find motherboard?

Just "Acer Aspire" doesn't narrow it down very much. The Acer company has put out MANY different computers under the "Aspire" model name. (From Netbooks to desktops)

But one thing I've found, that they all have in common is that the Bios is very hard to work with.
Being a Rocket Scientist may help, but I doubt it.

On one little Acer Aspire (Mini Desktop) I actually had to remove the CMOS battery for a half hour, to totally RESET the Bios chip, and then on replacing the battery,(with a new one), and rebooting, I could finally get into the Bios and set it the way I wanted. What a PITA! Even so, it doesn't reset like any other Bios that I've ever worked with in my 39 years as a Computer Builder/Tech.
