Hi, I have recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit,and I have several problems listed below:

1. My games are lagging like crazy, can't move the character, even the older games like CS 1.6, Half-Life 2, Tomb Raider Legend, Sims 2...

2. When I had aero effects on, some random pieces of open windows and taskbar flickering, but removed when I put the Windows 7 Basic theme on.

So I was wondering, is this because of the driver, because everything was working fine when I had XP installed, and is there a way to fix it???

P.S. I have chatted with an NVIDIA support technician, and he said that I perform a clean installation of the driver, which I did, but nothing still.

Have you performed a clean install of the Windows 7 or you upgraded from XP?
I usually suggest to make clean OS installs so possible errors might be avoided. If you didn't upgrade, try using Driver Sweeper and then make sure you install the proper drivers for your videocard: 7600GS - Windows 7 x32 drivers.

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Here's the link for NVIDIA's 280.26 (the latest) for your graphics card:

NVIDIA DRIVERS 280.26 WHQL

When you install it, make sure you choose the Custom option, which will automatically unload the old driver and carry out a clean install of the new one.

I noticed from your pc specifications that you have 1 Gb ram, and your video card memory is 256 Mb, I guess an upgrading of your Ram will help, and as mentioned earlier an upgrade of the drivers will be a good advantage.

Unfortunately, it didn't fix it. Games are still lagging and everything else is flickering. Here is my monitor configuration:

Judging from you system specifications, and your desire to play games on the machine, I'd suggest you switch back to Windows XP. The machine is too low in specifications to run Windows 7 with its aero feature and games at the same time. Maybe the Aero feature is the one causing the problems from the start. Try using a Basic Theme and see if the problems persist. If they do, I can't think of anything else than not meeting the required performance requirements to run Windows 7 along with games on your machine.

Upgrade your PC or revert to Windows XP.
