I recently had my computer reformatted (it is now the amazing Windows 7) and have decided to go after my long abandoned goal of making my computer look incredible. I have already saved loads of amazing wallpapers, and have a few helpful gadgets and a new theme, but aside from that I am at a loss. Currently my aims are:

1)to have the kind of desktop which requires no desktop shortcuts (either have them in a dock/gadget, or find a way to have them hidden unless I mouse-over, the hidden one would be best)

2)to have a "wallpaper clock", such as these:
[link] For the wallpaper clocks, I am trying to find out if there is one available in which it gives you the feature of having a customizable format (text, digital numbers, etc...), and lets you place it wherever you'd like with the option of displaying certain things at certain times (such as "It is 8:00 in the morning/It is 3:00 in the afternoon/It is 10:00 at night), and if at all possible, having the color change to be the most visible over whatever the background is (I have a slideshow of wallpapers). The latter is not as important as I can happily settle on just one wallpaper.

3)a large selection of docks, preferably customized ones (as in not just a plain RocketDock, one that either is unique, or is basic and has an interface that allows you to easily customize, such as change color, shape, gloss)

4)This one I never put much thought into, but customized sounds. Most likely I would need entire sound packs, as it would be very troublesome to find appropriate sounds for every single function, especially to have them match. Although I haven't put much thought into this and it's not most important, I do however want to find a certain sound to have when I log onto windows. I have seen it on a family friends computer ages ago (don't have contact to the person), the sound made when logging in was the default windows log in sound, but near the end it made a plummeting sound and then an explosion, and then you hear a person say "AWW S***T!"

5)More themes, as the one I have is nice, but since it is dark and the text is also dark, there are times when it's near impossible to read some things (in Firefox at least)
6)More useful or very neat gadgets, ones that will make me say "WOW that looks and is amazing", also had a specific one in mind that I saw in a picture of one person's desktop, it was like a dock, it had the person's shortcuts in it, and had the matrix background (not sure if it was animated, but either one would be great).

Overall, for each thing posted, it would be great if the things were very easy to customize, as I am not very artistic, nor good at drawing, and don't know how to use photoshop beyond very basic knowledge (however, if it's a very complicated process, still tell me, and I will just have to spend loads of time learning it/ photoshop if necessary). So, to whoever reads this, if you have even the slightest idea or bit of info on either of those 6 mentioned things, please reply. If you don't know them all (don't expect anyone to), that's fine, I am only trying to tackle these 1 by 1 anyhow, as I know it will be a lot of work to get things tailored the way I want them.

I know that's a long read, but I don't know how I could have made it much shorter

In any case, thank you in advance for any helpful responses, hopefully you guys can help me achieve some of these (and don't forget, if you are sure of it, please tell me if certain things are not possible)

1. Rocketdock.

2. Rainmeter. The skins you're thinking of are probably the SimpleSentence set.

3. Here.

4. Get the sound(s) you want to use and convert it/them to .wav format. I suggest Audacity to do that. Once you have the sounds in .wav format, go into your control panel and find the sound settings. Then go to the Sounds tab, click on what sound you want to change, and the rest is easy to figure out. :p

5. Here.

6. Rainmeter.

Hope this helped.
