Need help with my 9800GT graphics card

Okay, so the weirdest thing has happened to me. Out of some miracle, the graphics card worked yesterday. I was able to install my 3d apps and they worked like a charm. Today, however, I get the same problems that I had before. No input signal from the card. My bios has the PCIe as the first option. What can cause a graphics card to suddenly work then not work the next day? I'm happy that the neither the card nor slot are fried. Now I gotta see why my computer does not want to run from the card. I'm going to try what paulson31 suggested later today. I will update my situation later today.

The card could be broke, or the port could be as well. If you have warranty,return it.

Sorry to necro this thread, but did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having what looks to be the same issue and nothing has worked so far.

Trying to get my XFX geForce 7950 in my Asus A8M2N-LA mobo.

PSU and card are good (I've tested), but I get nothing through the card-out, not even POST.. it defaults to my on-board graphics.

CUPID PC Wizard sees that the slot is occupied, and the card gets warm, but no signal.

Can anyone help?
