I have just installed Windows 7 x64, I install the newest NVIDIA driver and I begin to set it up, I get the error saying NVIDIA install cannot continue
This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

It does not show up in device manager, nor system information, what does show up though in both, is Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. I try uninstalling it, in safe mode, and it still appears.

I've tried pulling the card out and plugging it back in, like I just got the card.

Please help.

Try go to www.geforce.com website and under drivers go for automatic video card detection or something like that and choose your os. After that you'll have the latest graphic card driver for your card.
I have do this by myself with a nvidia geforce 9600 gt and it works.

Also, the latest driver for my card also works with the 9600 as well

I would uninstall the drivers completely delete them from the system 32/drivers folder than reinstall a version that works. The card could be going bad do you notice any artifacts or anything of that nature?

When I changed to Windows 7, the whole computer got wiped, the drivers were wiped too. Nothings wrong with the card. What about the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter?
