My wife has a new laptop coming Monday and I have a NETGEAR WNDR3400 router I plan to use for it and my desktop but, don't really know anything about how to do it. Can the router be hooked up to the internet now, so it will be ready when the laptop gets here on Monday? I don't have a driver disc for the router. Thanks for all help!

I think I have the router setup correctly on the wireless security settings, it's set to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES should this keep anyone from using my internet that lives near by? because I have bandwidth limits and I'd sure hate to run into trouble there. I'm also using the default ssid should I change that or does it matter for security? Thanks!

Good deal, I was worried about that I guess I can just continue to use my desktop through the router since her laptop will be hear on Monday? Thanks again!
