Need Smart Advice for Laptop Purchase

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a decent laptop with a modest budget of 300-400 USD which I will be using mainly for:


1. Browsing (Youtube, Facebook, mail...)
2. Video/Audio chatting
3. Media storage (music, docs, pictures etc)
4. MS apps
5. Casual games
6. Memory and any other upgrade

Really need suggestions on the following specs:

1. Brand (priority is durability)
2. Processor
3. Ram
4. Memory
5. OS
6. 32 bit/64 bit
7. And anything else that I'm missing.

There is not much out there for under $400 brand new that is powerful relatively speaking but my guess is that you should check out the Lenovo x120e. It's a bit more than the traditional "netbook" with a...well just watch the video to get an idea.



-durable, casual usage, chat, internet, email, storage...this would fit your needs.
-go with 4GB ram option if you can...
-some people even upgrade to SSD but that's way beyond $400 now...
