Need to know what I can delete from Program files.

My first advice: I see you only as an ordinary user ( just like my wife is :)) and not a computer-savvy person. (hmmm... if I tell my wife "clean install your Windows Vista, she is gonna hit me on my head and then treat me for the head injury. Well, that is what she has been trained for and will do and her first priority is. Not to learn how do to a clean install, even if I could help her sitting by her side. And believe me it is going to be a difficult task unless I do it myself for her.:))

If you haven't got the Recovery CDs for your system, first get it done. It is a user activity and you should be able to do it going through the documentation for your laptop. If you find it taxing, contact RadioShack and check whether they can do it.

Even for an ordinary user restoring the laptop to the factory condition is a necessary skill and not a difficult task.

Once you are armed with Recovery CDs, take on the task of cleaning the unnecessary programs. People here can definitely walk you through and it is not a difficult task. ( Should anything go wrong you should be able to restore the system back to the factory condtion with the recovery CDs or the Recovery partition.)

And yes, before doing this you should buy an external Hard disk and back up all your personal data, photos, video etc. This is only a copy operation and a user activity.
