I just tried something by starting up my laptop at work not connected to any network and i could hear the guys saying they could see a computer, i read up some more of your posts about security and downloaded the EMET tool and that seems to have done the job Looks like someone who lives by me knows a few windows 7 exploits after all and this has fixed the problem so thank you Brink for the post on the EMET tool

How is somebody able to actually hack into your fresh install?

By the way the Updatususer is actually an Nvidia user account part it's auto update software.

I have no idea my man, but I tried an experiment last night I started my pc , did not connect to any networks , locked down my firewall, made sure network discovery was off and file sharing, I had installed Norton 360 version 6 then opened paint and wrote something only someone spying on you would be able to see, and I heard them read it out which should be impossible right with a locked down firewall??? So I grabbed my reinstall disc of windows 7 and did a fresh custome install just as brink shown us in his tutorials but I stopped before adding a username and password and I could hear them talking about it whilst I was reinstalling, she clearly took offence to what I had typed as she then kept me awake for 1hr plus late at night by continually setting her washing machine to the noisiest to keep me awake this was at midnight and did so for 8 or 9 times. What I need to do is allow an expert to gather all the data they need to see what they are doing illegally on my laptop and desktop as what ever they are doing must be leaving traces somewhere if you know where to look right? I am more than willing for someone to do this to get an explanation from all this as what they are doing is illegal and needs to be stopped but who can I contact?

Have you considered that they may have installed a camera in your room?
Do you have a webcam on your machine?
